Here is what happens. Three things.

One. You taste wines from six very different regions. Some are cold and green. Some are hot and dry. Some are made from grapes you have never heard of, and there are more than 250 of those.

Two. You eat small bites with every glass. Wine is not a drink on its own here. It is a member of the family, and it never arrives alone.

Three. You learn one simple way to taste wine, so you can do it at home, at your own table, with wine from your own supermarket.

No experience needed. Your palate is always right. If you say “for me, this is…”, you will be correct. I will just help you find the words.

Portugal drinks more wine per person than France. We just do not tell anyone. This is our chance to fix that.
